DASA at Drain Trader conference

Andrew invited to speak at conference in Glasgow

Our operations director Andrew Greatorex has been invited for a second time, to speak at Drain Trader’s conference in Glasgow.

Andrew’s seminar which takes place on Friday 18th May at the Glasgow Science Centre, will be all about ‘Best practice in the drainage industry – weeding out the rogues’.

We all know the typical stereotypical connotations that have plagued our industry, ones that we continue to work hard to eliminate. Over the past 12 months, DASA has become increasingly aware of the increase in rogue drainage repair companies, who are leaving property claimants with major uninsured costs causing upset and distress and tarnishing our industry. Some have been reported to be charging rates that are over 750% inflated above industry levels.

DASA is currently assisting with a number of instances of legal action being brought against certain culprits. But what can we as an industry do to ensure that we weed these rogue companies out?

Andy's Story DASA Team

Andrew will look at the tools that can be used to ensure better education to the general public. He will also look at what we can do to achieve best practice as a whole ensuring that rogue traders are a thing of the past and our industry’s reputation is improved.
