DASA have over 40 years of experience in the off mains and drainage industry. Our engineers have the knowledge and experience dealing with off mains systems such as septic tank inspection, septic tank repairs and replacements, and septic tank cleaning and conversion. DASA also offers services for cesspits, sewage treatment plants and soakaways or drainage fields.
But what is a septic tank?
A septic tank is an installation which takes waste from a property and subjects it to a ‘passive’ treatment and separation by a two-stage tank located by the property. The separated liquid will then be output to a soakaway, drainage field or watercourse whilst the solid component is retained in the tank and then emptied annually.
It is important to make sure that you do regularly have your septic tank serviced and emptied to ensure that it is still working efficiently. When septic tanks are left full for too long, this is when problems will arise and you will start to have foul odours and possibly blocked drains.
Our engineers are experts in making sure that there are no further issues when they come to clean or repair your septic tank. DASA engineers focus on the soakaway, eliminating any chances of blockages and ensuring that any debris has been disposed off so that there will not be future blockages caused. Our team is very thorough and will not leave a service until we are satisfied with the result. It is important to be aware of the legal implications that can arise if you don’t get your septic tank emptied regularly. If you do not follow the set guidelines you could face legal action, as well as issues with your drainage and septic tank system.
