DASA nominated in the prestigious Insurance Times Awards
This week we were delighted to receive the news that DASA has been nominated in “The Insurer Innovation Award” category at the prestigious Insurance Times Awards. The winners will be revealed at the Award ceremony on Wednesday 9 December, which will hopefully take place in the Great Room at London’s Grosvenor House, renowned for hosting the UK’s most notable award ceremonies and events.
Here our commercial director Chris Edwards reflects on the nomination and why it is what DASA is all about.
DASA provides innovative cost-effective underground services for the insurance industry and our commitment is to work with our customers and their wider supply chains to improve the customer journey, reduce cycle times and reduce costs.
Managing the claim from start to finish means we can take every opportunity to reduce the impact on the customer, maximise opportunities to repair damaged items (floors, kitchen units, driveways etc) and at the same time minimise our customers spend on these type of claims.
We are not just a “drainage company”, we specialise in all things water, we are EOW experts!
Creating sustainable solutions continues to increase in importance as insurers and their supply chain aim to reduce their impact on the earth thus improving their collective environmental credentials.
Over the past 12 months, DASA has worked hard to find solutions for underground services that “don’t cost the earth”. Sourcing and trialling innovative products and thinking outside the box for our insurance clients, to assist them in developing cost effective environmentally friendly solutions.
This includes, but is not limited to providing sustainable drainage systems that align with natural water processes, making urban drainage systems more compatible with components of the natural water cycle, adopting, where possible, a restoration approach to everything that we do and using eco-friendly and sustainably sourced materials and products that are biodegradable and where possible plant-based.
We think it is important we offer customers a choice and gladly accept the challenge that being different is not always easy.
