What is Infrared Leak Detection?
Infrared leak detection is a valuable technology used to identify and locate leaks in various systems and equipment. It utilises the principle that most substances emit or absorb infrared radiation, which is not visible to the human eye but can be detected using specialised instruments. Infrared leak detection is commonly employed in industrial settings, particularly in industries such as oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems.
